Serendipity Stamps Blog Challenge - Center Step Card

Serendipity Center Step

I am very excited to share that I am now a Design Team member of Serendipity Stamps!

I am in very good company too as among them are current amazing team members Jeanne Jachna, Amy Cokley, Jenny Gropp, Sue Eldred and Miriam Napier. There are also two other new talented designers joining the Serendipity Team along with me, Pauline Pollington and Cathy Weber. It's so exciting to be part of such a lovely, welcoming group.

Today's Challenge is to create a Center Step Card.  If you are like me and needed a tutorial, there is an excellent one on SCS - click here.

I made this Thank you card for my sweet mum who helped me at short notice recently.  I must admit that the Center Step Card is a new technique for me but once I got started, it all came together quite easily.

I took a break from brighter colours and went soft and fairly neutral on this one.  I stamped the beautiful 'Pitcher and Basin' image in blue onto some paper and then created a mask onto which I stamped a gorgeous 'Marble Cells' background stamp in pale blue. I used the sentiment 'Thanks so much!' from Serendipity's 'Everyday Words' set along the bottom step - such a beautiful font!

Lots of dimension on these cards, which I just love. Definitely a card that needs to be hand delivered!

Thanks so much for visiting! I hope you are able to join in with this challenge! Be sure to visit the Serendipity Blog for COMPLETE details and for some wonderful inspiration visit the Serendipity DT:
