These boots were made for walkin'...TT100 Dude Time Doodles/Masculine theme

Hey everyone - I'm back with the rest of the Tuesday Throwdown girls to bring you a new challenge - our 100th!!

As part of the TTDT, I have used an image produced by Dude Time Doodles (a bonibleux designs company) to create a card with a Masculine theme!!

TT100 Dude Time Doodles

My card features the 'Sneaker' digi image which I have printed onto two different patterned papers, fussy cut around the sole and laces and then paper pieced to make a well-worn pair of boots!! I also used some Tea-Dye distress ink to make them look even more dusty and well-travelled!!

TT100 BOOTS

We've had some absolutely fantastic warm, sunny weather here in the UK and my mind inevitably turns to thinking about travel and holidays (vacation) - so that's where I had this idea for creating a masculine card for a globe-trotting guy. The Kaisercraft paper in the background has a map of the world printed on it, so it also ties in with the reference to travel and the spirit of adventure.

And finally, that wonderful stamped sentiment by Papertrey Ink just seemed to fit with the general idea of someone jetting off to explore another part of the world!!

I hope you enjoyed today's card and that you will come and join us for this week's Masculine themed challenge.  You can find all of the projects that the Tuesday Throwdown DT have created and FULL details of how to link up you project etc by clicking HERE.

I am also linking this card up to the Card Patterns blog, as I have taken so much inspiration from their current sketch..really love this one!

Have a great, crafty week everyone!

Hugs,

Helen
