Friends of Waltzing Mouse Blog Waltz

Just a quick post for the Waltzing Mouse Blog Waltz which starts at WaltzingMouseHouse.com today - The theme is BIRTHDAYS.
I'm not at my most creative - my eldest boy has Chicken Pox and the other has a fever, so this card was made yesterday in a hurry with sleep deprivation!! I created a diamond background using my Scorpal to tie in with the beautiful background Claire created for the new 'Pic Nic Patterns' stamp set.

I don't know about you, but I find these blog waltzes so inspirational and can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with!!

Thanks for visiting my blog today :)

Helen x

Mega gorgeous butterfly from the Earth Angel wings. Great tip about using the scor pal to make the diamond background. Hope your boy feels a bit less itchy soon!

I love the way you used the angel wings to make your butterfly! I see your scrolls/flourishes on four side of the Nestie, too! Very clever! Claire's stamps are so versatile and this waltz is one sure way to see how far we can go with that! Hope sleep is in your future as well as health and happiness!
